Embracing New Life Together
We aim to provide essential
resources and compassionate care to pregnant women, fostering well-being and a brighter future.
Every woman deserves the utmost care and support during one of the most profound journeys of her life—motherhood.
Preggy was born out of a deep commitment to support and uplift pregnant women across Cameroon. Recognizing the challenges faced by mothers, especially in remote and underserved communities, our organization was established to provide essential resources, compassionate care, and unwavering support. We are more than just an organization—we are a community dedicated to fostering well-being and a brighter future for mothers and their children.
An overview of our current and upcoming initiatives.
Support our Projects
We have initiated the pilot phase of three projects, prioritizing these based on the critical needs we’ve identified. However, we are still actively seeking additional funding to fully implement these initiatives. The remaining Six projects are planned to begin next year 2025, contingent on the availability of funds and resources. It’s important to note that this list does not represent all of our intended efforts, as new projects may arise based on emerging needs on the ground.Potential donors and partners are invited to contribute to this life-saving initiative.

Birth Kits Project
The Birth Kits Project is a humanitarian initiative aimed at providing essential maternity supplies by distributing free Birth Kits to women in need, particularly in remote areas of Cameroon. The project addresses the critical lack of basic maternity supplies, which significantly increases the risk of infections for both mothers and newborns during childbirth. By distributing birth kits, Preggy is working towards the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals 3.1 and 3.2, which focus on reducing maternal and neonatal mortality and improving overall child health.
Nutrition Kits Project
The Nutrition Program is a comprehensive initiative aimed at improving maternal and child health by addressing malnutrition among pregnant women in Cameroon, particularly in remote and underserved areas. The program focuses on raising awareness about the importance of proper nutrition during pregnancy and distributing nutrition kits to those most at risk of malnutrition. By ensuring that expectant mothers receive the necessary nutrients, the program seeks to reduce the incidence of low birth weight, premature deliveries, and other complications associated with poor maternal nutrition.
Free Antenatal Care Project
The Free Antenatal Care Project is designed to provide comprehensive, free antenatal care services to pregnant women in underserved and economically disadvantaged areas of Cameroon. With many women facing barriers to accessing quality maternal care due to financial constraints and geographical isolation, this project aims to eliminate these obstacles by offering essential prenatal services at no cost. By doing so, we seek to improve maternal and neonatal health outcomes, reduce the incidence of pregnancy-related complications, and ensure a healthier start for both mothers and their babies.
Free Birth Fees Project
The Free Birth Fees Project is an initiative aimed at providing financial support to impoverished pregnant women in Cameroon, ensuring they can settle their delivery fees and avoid the dire consequences of being unable to pay. In many remote and underserved areas, women are often detained in hospitals after giving birth due to their inability to settle their bills, leading to significant stress and, in some cases, life-threatening situations. This project seeks to alleviate these burdens by covering birth-related expenses for women in need, thereby safeguarding their health and dignity.
Anemia Project
The Anemia Project is dedicated to combating anemia among pregnant women, particularly in economically disadvantaged communities. Anemia, a condition marked by low levels of hemoglobin in the blood, is prevalent among pregnant women in Cameroon, leading to increased risks of complications during pregnancy and childbirth. This project focuses on raising awareness about anemia, educating women on its causes and consequences, and providing practical solutions to manage and prevent the condition. By addressing anemia, the project aims to improve maternal and neonatal health outcomes across the country.
Awareness & Education Program Project
The Awareness & Education Program project is a comprehensive initiative aimed at empowering women, particularly in remote and underserved areas, with essential knowledge on maternal health, nutrition, hygiene, and family care. Through a series of interactive workshops, this program seeks to equip women with the information and skills necessary to make informed decisions about their health and the well-being of their families. By addressing critical gaps in maternal education, the program aims to reduce preventable maternal and child health issues, improve overall health outcomes, and foster a culture of informed and proactive healthcare practices within communities.
Shelter Project
The Shelter Project is a critical initiative designed to provide temporary shelter and support to pregnant women who are homeless, displaced, or facing domestic violence. This program aims to create a safe and nurturing environment where expectant mothers can receive essential care, support, and guidance during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives. By offering a refuge from the challenges of homelessness and instability, the program seeks to reduce the risks associated with unsafe living conditions, improve maternal and child health outcomes, and empower women to make informed decisions about their future and that of their unborn children.
Community Project
The Community Project focuses on addressing the emotional and social needs of pregnant women in Cameroon through the creation of peer support groups and counseling services. Recognizing that mental and emotional well-being is critical during pregnancy, the project aims to provide a supportive network and professional guidance to help women navigate the challenges of pregnancy, enhance their overall well-being, and foster a sense of community.
Mobile Clinic Project
The Mobile Clinic Project aims to address critical challenges in maternal and neonatal health in Cameroon’s remote and underserved areas. With a maternal mortality rate of approximately 529 deaths per 100,000 live births, the project seeks to provide essential healthcare services to women who lack access due to poor infrastructure and economic barriers. By deploying mobile clinics, the initiative will deliver on-the-ground medical support, including prenatal care, safe deliveries, and postnatal care, to improve health outcomes and reduce preventable deaths.
